Brown Angel's 2013 release, "Agonal Harvest" recorded by Jason Jouver (Don Caballero, Creta Bourzia), mixed by Dave Kuzy (Microwaves) and mastered by Weasel Walter (Flying Luttenbachers et al), is available in a limited edition of 125 LPs. Pressed on simple, goes-with-anything black vinyl with hand-screened covers. This edition comes with a CD that includes the entire program as well as Brown Angel's first, self-titled LP as a bonus.

Brown Angel's second and final LP sounds a shrill and punishing death knell for the trio (NOTE: Brown Angel has been reactivated as of May 2013). The band places a greater emphasis on what trace amounts of melody existed on the 2010 debut - to that end harnessing (but never fully reigning in) key components drawn from early industrial music as well as 90s death metal and grindcore.

Over seven tracks, sparse and somber rhythms buoy a cyclonic roar of guitar, feedback and electronic noise atop a bed of distorted, weapon-grade dub bass. But where Brown Angel "s/t" sustained a howling crescendo, "Agonal Harvest" diversifies, offering droning, mournfully sung hymns to dejection and loss, unearthing fossils of 90s breakbeat and churning post-punk elements.

Each LP is packaged with a bonus CD version that contains this as well as the Brown Angel "s/t" album meticulously mastered for digital consumption.
